Bushwhacker Cup Returns to Pensacola November 14–15 — Register Now
Mark the new dates and get ready for one of the most fun and welcoming stops on the Melges 24 fall racing calendar. The 2026 Bushwhacker Cup, originally scheduled for October 31–November 1, has been rescheduled for November 14–15, 2026, at Pensacola Yacht Club.
Online registration is officially open, and Melges 24 teams can begin making plans now for a fall weekend on Pensacola Bay.
A longtime favorite among Southeast sailors, the Bushwhacker Cup has built its reputation as a Corinthian-centric destination regatta where competitive racing and an easygoing atmosphere go hand in hand. Pensacola Yacht Club (PYC) consistently rolls out the welcome mat for visiting teams, making the event as enjoyable ashore as it is on the racecourse.
Pensacola also makes the Bushwhacker Cup an especially accessible road regatta. Affordable accommodations, reasonable travel costs, convenient logistics, and a welcoming host club make it easy for teams to put together a great weekend of Melges 24 racing without turning it into an oversized campaign.
The Bushwhacker Cup is included in both the 2026 Southeast Racing Series and the 2026 North American Sailing Series. Each respective Notice of Series has been updated to reflect the new November 14–15 dates.
