Muskegon Spring Championship Competitor Notice No. 1
Are you ready to kick-off great Melges 24 racing in the Midwest? The Spring Championship happening in Muskegon is, as always, shaping up to be spectacular, event number one on the Quantum Sails Great Lakes Cup series, and number four on the 2025 North American Sailing Series.
As a registered participant, please review the following important reminders and take any necessary action:

• All owners must have a full-owner membership for each boat racing.
• All pro sailors must have a full-pro sailor membership.
• All drivers, that are not owners must have an associate membership.

If you do not see your name, please join online here to ensure you are eligible to race.
Crew Lists (Open & Corinthian)
All teams shall submit a complete crew list online here. Submitting a crew list is a requirement and helps facilitate any necessary crew substitutions during the event. If you encounter any difficulties, please submit your crew list here. The US Melges 24 Class will confirm receipt.
Corinthian Competition
Until further notice, all teams competing as Corinthians shall submit a Corinthian Crew Declaration here. This declaration must be submitted and received to race as a Corinthian in Muskegon. The US Melges 24 Class will confirm receipt. A finalized list of approved Corinthian teams for this event will be sent to the OA by the close of registration on May 16th.
In addition: FREE Melges 24 Best Practices Sharing Session with Gamecock Sailing and more!
A very special thanks to Melges 24 owner Peter McClennen and his Gamecock team and other top tier teams, as they will be hosting an invaluable best practices sharing session for all teams of experience levels to learn directly from top-tier talent. From helm to bow, seasoned racers will be sharing the tricks, tips, and techniques that help them sail faster and smarter. With hands-on dockside discussions, focused group breakouts, and real-time on-the-water practice, this session is all about elevating the entire fleet through collaboration, connection, and good ol’ Beer & Brats camaraderie. Starts at 12:30 on Friday, May 16th at the yacht club.

⚠️ Friendly Reminder: Crew Changes & Substitutions
We get it—life happens! Illness, schedule shifts, family stuff... it’s all part of the game. That said, to keep racing fair and square, it’s essential that any last-minute crew changes are provided to the event organizers. Skippers, this one’s on you—please make sure to keep the OA in the loop. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
⚠️ Important: Teams without a valid 2025 Class Membership and/or Crew Lists will not be scored at the event.
