GT Invite Hot To Go with 20+ Entries, August 20-21
Twenty-four Melges 24 teams (and more expected) are signed up to race the Grand Traverse Invite on August 20-21 in Traverse City, Michigan, including 3 teams from Canada! The entry list is stacked with the likes of 2022 U.S. Corinthian National Champion Mike Dow on Flying Toaster and 2021 Corinthian National Ranking Champion Steve Pirie on RUMbunctious. This is a double score event — it’s number 3 on the Quantum Great Lakes Cup Series, and number 7 on the 2022 U.S. National Ranking Series.
If you participated at the North American Championship in 2019, you are in store for more — great racing, great food, great friends and good times! Sail 22 will be on site for support. The Grand Traverse Yacht Club will be supporting this event in the very same way as it did for the NAC — all facilities will be open and welcoming racers from near and far!
