Southern Bay Race Week delivers three days of premier racing in the Chesapeake Bay, highlighted by the Black Seal Cup and a full lineup of shoreside experiences. From one-design and PHRF/ORC competition to live music, island-inspired food, and Goslings Rum, it’s the ultimate blend of high-level sailing and laid-back coastal energy.
The 2026 Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series, Detroit edition will once again host the U.S. Melges 24 Class. Taking place on May 29 - 31, hosted by the Bayview Yacht Club, this is an amazing place to race with intense competition and great parties!
