Bacardi Winter Series 2025-2026 Line-up Announced

The Bacardi Invitational Winter Series kicks off on 13-14 December 2025 at Shake-A-Leg Miami, with the second event unfolding from 23-25 January 2026, followed by the season finale — the Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta, 1-7 March 2026. From 1-7 March 2026, the Star Class contests the 99th Bacardi Cup, with racing for the J70, Melges 24, VX One, and Viper 640 Classes from 5-7 March, 2026.

The first event of the Bacardi Winter Series 2025-2026 doubles as the highly anticipated Melges 24 North American Championship and marks the final stop on the 2025 North American Sailing Series circuit. With three days of top-tier racing on the legendary waters of Biscayne Bay, this event is the perfect finale to an incredible year. Expect great racing, enjoy the renowned Bacardi Happy Hour cocktails as well as Sailors’ parties and memorable shore-side hospitality. It’s a pinnacle-style event that brings a fully immersive post-race experience hosted by the legendary Bacardi Rum brand, delivering only the very best in one-design racing.

This is the ideal launch pad into the 2026 Melges 24 racing season in North America. The momentum continues in the early Fall with the U.S. Nationals in Traverse City, setting the stage for the World Championship hosted by the Little Traverse Yacht Club in Harbor Springs, MI on September 19-26, 2026.

Online registration for the 2025 North American Championship/Bacardi Winter Series No. 1 will open on July 1st for the Melges 24s. All other events can anticipate a September 1st online registration date.
