Southeast Inland Championship Wraps-Up on Beautiful Lake Lanier
The 2025 Melges 24 Southeast Inland Championship is officially in the books after an exciting weekend of racing, hosted by the always-welcoming Lake Lanier Sailing Club, March 29-30.
Congratulations to Peter McClennen’s Gamecock who dominated the event with an impressive 1-1-1 scoreline to take the overall win. Kyle Vowel’s I’m With Stupid secured second place, while Seth Rosenthal’s Afterthought rounded out the podium in third.
Seventeen teams hit the line for two days of tight competition and camaraderie, marking the fifth stop on the Southeast Series circuit.
In addition to great racing, teams enjoyed the hallmark Lake Lanier hospitality with a Saturday night celebration full of food, music, and friends — making this a true highlight of the spring calendar.
