Midwinter Championship Competitor Notice No. 1

Dear Melges 24 Owners, Sailors, and Teams,

We’re excited to kick off the 2025 North American Sailing Series with our Midwinter Championship at the St. Pete’s Sailing World Regatta. 

This event marks the third event on the newly established Southeast Racing circuit.

As a registered participant, please review the following important reminders and take any necessary action:

2025 Class Membership
A big thank you to those who have already joined the Class! If you haven’t yet, now is a great time—early bird pricing is available through February 28, 2025. You can join online here.

For the Midwinter Championship:
• All teams must be 2025 Class Members by the close of registration on February 13th.
• All owners must hold a full-owner membership for each boat they race.
• All pro sailors must hold a full-pro sailor membership.
• All drivers, that are not owners must hold an associate membership.

You can view the current list of 2025 Melges 24 Class Members here. 

If you do not see your name, please join online here to ensure you are eligible to race.

Crew Lists (Open & Corinthian)
All teams shall submit a complete crew list online at Yacht Scoring. Submitting a crew list is a requirement and helps facilitate any necessary crew substitutions during the event. We understand there are ongoing Yacht Scoring issues. If you encounter any difficulties, please submit your crew list here. The US Melges 24 Class will confirm receipt.

Corinthian Competition
Until further notice, all teams competing as Corinthians shall submit a Corinthian Crew Declaration here. The US Melges 24 Class will confirm receipt. A finalized list of approved Corinthian teams for this event will be sent to the OA by the close of registration on February 13th.

⚠️ Important: Teams without a valid 2025 Class Membership and/or Crew Lists will not be scored at the event.
