Melges 24 Midwinters, 30 Days to Regatta Series Kickoff in St. Petersburg

Officially designated as the Melges 24 Midwinters, the Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta in St. Petersburg, Florida on February 17-19 will deliver a good time, on- and off-the-water. Check out some of these kick-off events that usher in the racing season in the U.S.A. - in particular the 2023 National Ranking Series — St. Pete’s is number 1 on the schedule!

St. Petersburg Kicks off the 2023 Regatta Speaker Series
Terry Hutchinson, skipper and president of American Magic, New York YC’s Challenger for the 37th America’s Cup, will join us at our Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series St. Petersburg Friday Night Social (February 17) at St. Petersburg YC for a rare one-on-one interview, on stage with Sailing World’s Dave Reed. Reminder to all skipper and crew: Complete your crew information on Yachtscoring, register for the following: Corinthian, Mixed Plus, and Junior Crew. If you’re looking for crew, don’t sail short-handed, visit the Crew Board. With St. Pete’s/Midwinters kicking off the National Ranking Series for the Melges 24 Class in the U.S.A. it is so important to do this — especially if you and your team are competing as Corinthians. All Corinthian teams need to make sure that your entries are complete with your full crew names, sailor categorization and sailor ID numbers. Please do this as we do not want anyone to be left off the scoring of the National Ranking Series!
