Weisleder's Lucky Dog Leads 2022 U.S. National Ranking Series After 5 Events

The 2022 U.S. Melges 24 Class' National Ranking Series (NRS) concluded its fifth of nine events this past weekend at the Bayview Regatta in Detroit, MI. Flying high on the charts since Charleston Race Week, Travis Weisleder at the helm of Lucky Dog has a small, but comfortable lead ahead of 2022 World Champion Peter Duncan sailing Raza Mixta currently in second place. Bora Gulari's New England Ropes completes the podium standings in third.

Fraser McMillan’s Sunnyvale holds firm as the top Corinthian team, followed by 2019 Corinthian U.S. National Champion Steve Suddath on 3 1/2 Men in second. Geoff Fargo on Sentinel rounds out the top three all-amateur teams.

The next NRS event happens at the Gorge in late July.
