2019 International AGM Approaching, Call for Submissions to USM24CA Due by September 11

The International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA) AGM (Annual General Meeting) will be taking place on November 9 in Bergen, Norway.

Submissions can be made about:
Constitution, future events, class rules, technical issues, regatta regulations and general policies.

Bids open for the future events: North-Americans 2021; Europeans 2022, Worlds 2022 etc.

The IM24CA Executive Committee posts up for the elections are:

  1. Chairman - Currently held by Jens Wathne (NOR), was elected in 2014, 2 year term and re-elected in 2016, 3 year term - up for election - terms will end

  2. Vice Chairman Americas - Currently held by Duncan Stamper (CAN), was elected in 2016, 3 year term - up for election - may be re-elected for the second term.

  3. Member North America - Currently held by Paul Krak Arntson (USA), was elected in 2016, 3 year term - up for election - may be re-elected for the second term.

  4. Member Europe - Currently held by Michael Good (SUI), was elected in 2014, 2 year term and re-elected in 2016, 3 year term - up for election - may continue in another position.

If you are a U.S. Melges 24 owner that would like to be more involved with the Class, at an International level, please send your nomination via email to the USM24CA Admin by Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

If you would like to nominate another current Melges 24 Owner, that nomination may also be supplied to the USM24CA Admin by Wednesday, September 11, 2019.
