Shafer Wins St. Pete NOOD, Schwarting Names Corinthian Division Champ
After nine solid races at the 2019 Helly Hansen St. Petersburg NOOD Regatta, Alex Shafer sailing Vixen took home top Melges 24 honors.
Gary Schwarting’s Obsession was crowned Corinthian Champion. Four of the top five finishers qualified as Melges 24 Corinthian teams - including Bob Kroetsch on Rogue in third overall, followed by Southeast District Governor Tony Stanley sailing Hermes, and Canada’s Robert Wigny on Notorious in fourth and fifth respectively.
