Competing Charleston Melges 24s — please REVIEW these very important Melges 24 racing items for Charleston:
CREW LISTS ONLINE AT YACHTSCORING
It is very important to the Class, as well as the Charleston OA that every team enter and complete their crew lists online at Yachtscoring: https://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=4494. Log into the Owner’s Corner and take care of this ASAP.
These crew lists help the U.S. Melges 24 Class, confirm and officially qualify teams for Corinthian competition. It is also very helpful to the press, as they can target our fleet for features in their news releases.
So, please take a moment and enter your crew list sooner rather than later — especially those of you who would like to be included in the Corinthian Division.

CORINTHIAN COMPETITION
Remember that the official entry deadline for your team to enter/qualify as a Melges 24 Corinthian team is by the close of registration, on Thursday, April 12.
If you believe your team qualifies for the all-amateur division, you can now apply two different ways:
a.) Enter your crew list online at Yachtscoring which must include your World Sailing ID No.
and your Group Classification, or
b.) Complete a Corinthian Declaration Form at this link: http://www.usmelges24.com/pdf/USMCACorinthianDecForm.pdf and submit to USM24CA Admin, Joy Dunigan via email.
EVERY CREW MEMBER must possess a valid Group 1 Sailor ID in order to qualify.
Here is how to confirm if your team has been cleared and approved by the Class for Corinthian competition:
When approved, your entry will appear like this:
Notice that this team has properly submitted all of their World Sailing numbers and are Classified as Group 1s. The ‘YES’ boxes on the right, means that the Class has approved the team. ALL CREW MEMBERS MUST BE MARKED ‘YES' in order to be included in the Corinthian Division. If your team is partially approved, please contact the USMCA Admin via email ASAP.
BOW NUMBERS
If any team DOES NOT have Bow Numbers already on your Melges 24, please contact USM24CA Admin, Joy Dunigan on email so the we can assist you in getting them.
