2018 MIDWINTER AND TUNE-UP EVENT COMPETITOR ANNOUNCEMENT 1

We are looking forward to seeing everyone later this week. Please make sure you make your haul and launch reservations with Karis at Shake A Leg here is the link to the form he wants us to use.

https://form.jotform.com/73165414238152 or he can be reached at karis@shakealegmiami.org and 305 728 4717. To clarify, the charges are $216.00 for launch, dockage, electrical and trailer storage during the event. There is also a $25.00 fee for their wireless. This is mandatory as they are aware how this password can be so easily shared. Coach boats are $35.00 a day and there is additional storage available if you are leaving your boat for MRW (discuss with Karis) These fees are important to them as it generates needed revenue for the maintenance and rebuilding of their facility.

The event itself is the Mid-Winter Tune-Up. Racing with coaching, the goal here is for everyone to come out of this event a bit faster. North Sails is providing several on water coaches for all to use and we will keep the time between races open for short consultations.  We will have questions and answer periods post racing and we will also have morning sessions to discuss the setups for the day and to address any changes to the format of the days races.

Yacht Scoring will be used for all communication including the official notice board. Please make sure your emails are correct and going to the appropriate person. If you want you can include crew emails and the notices will go out crews as well for back up.

I have John Abel as our PRO and I will be assisting him out on the water with the other race committee members.
