CA NO. 2: 2016 WORLDS, OVERALL AND CORINTHIAN FINAL ENTRY DEADLINE APPROACHING

The International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA) and the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USMCA) are thrilled to be welcoming you all to Miami in almost one month’s time. In an effort to help you and your team better prepare for all the incredible racing and competition ahead, all entrants are strongly encouraged to review the below items:

WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRIES
The FINAL event entry deadline is November 1, 2016. All entries must be received by this date AND entry fee must be received in order to be allowed to compete. If your team still needs to pay, please log on at the Official Yachtscoring Website for the 2016 Melges 24 Worlds and take care of this immediately.

CORINTHIAN COMPETITION, ENTRY DEADLINE NOVEMBER 1
If your team would like to complete as a Corinthian entry, you need to indicate this on your entry form for Worlds. The closing date for registering as a Corinthian entry is November 1. Please take a moment to read 4. CLASSIFICATION in the 2016 Melges 24 World Championship NOR and IM24CA Corinthian Division Description to understand and accept all details regarding Corinthian competition. Any entry accepted after November 1, 2016 will NOT be eligible for the Corinthian Trophy.
 

MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATES
Every Melges 24 team is required to provide a measurement certificate prior to the close of registration on November 28, 2016. Submit your measurement certificate in advance to International Melges 24 Class Admin, Piret Salmistu via email. 

Do you still need to receive your measurement certificate? Contact your respective National Class Secretary as soon as possible for further assistance.

DOCKAGE
Dockage at Island Gardens is provided for every competing Melges 24 at the Miami World Championship starting Monday, November 28 thru Saturday, December 3, 2016. Additional days are available for $3.50 per foot.

If your team wishes to keep your boat at another marina, do know that this is permitted.
