The current plan is to hold a one-day event/regatta on Saturday, November 18 to support SAISA. This event specifically will offer young crew with a very cool introduction-style experience on the Melges 24 high performance sportboat.

The Melges 24 owner will be on the boat with 4 college sailors as helm and crew from each college.

EVENT SCHEDULE
9.00 am / Overview M24 boat, intro video, chalk talk in clubhouse.
10.00 am / Melges 24 SAISA group demo / sail and rigging set up ( on dock )
11.00 pm / Practice sail with SAISA teams on water
12.30 pm / Lunch
13.00 - 16.00 pm / Windward-Leeward races for competing teams (planning on 30 min races — as many as we can get in). David Reddaway has offered to support the RC for this event.
16.30 pm / Debrief an pack up boats.

The Class is super excited about getting some of the countries top college sailors well-acquainted and proficiently sailing Melges 24s!
