After three days and 8 races in a variety of conditions, Porter captured an unprecedented 10th Melges 24 U.S. National Championship, making him the champ for a third time in a row. Teams awoke to cool temps, plentiful sunshine and very windy conditions on Day 2 of the 2023 Melges 24 U.S. National Championship on Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. The Melges 24 celebrates her 30th Anniversary this weekend and the cool, breezy conditions certainly put the icing on the birthday cake. Three short-track races were conducted setting up the fleet nicely for a proper Sunday showdown.

Per the Notice of Race, item No.3, Eligibility and Entry, each Melges 24 needs to provide a valid measurement certificate for competition at the U.S. National Championship.
