The Canadian Melges 24 Class Association cordially invites all Melges 24s to compete at North American Championship, hosted by the National Yacht Club in Toronto, Ontario. The event runs September 14-17, with 3 days of racing just west of the Toronto Harbour. The 2023 NAC also marks the penultimate event on the Quantum Great Lakes Cup Series.

There will be a BBQ and a band Friday night, a steak or salmon dinner Saturday evening with a DJ, post regatta snacks on the Sunday, and beer courtesy of Steamwhistle Brewery throughout the weekend, all complimentary thanks to NAC sponsors. 

Accommodations can be challenging at this wonderful time to be in Toronto. To assist the Canadian Melges 24 Class has put together a list of hotels that have availability that week (see attached PDF) and we are exploring billeting options with members.

All Melges 24 teams are encouraged to book your accommodations as soon as possible, as the Toronto International Film Festival also takes place this same weekend. Hotels will fill up. quickly, however the bonus is you may have some celebrity sightings.

The yacht club is located off of Stadium Road (Bathurst St and Lakeshore/Gardiner Expwy), is right across from Billy Bishop airport just west of the heart of Toronto and has a secure private parking lot. 

The Canadian Class looks forward to hosting everyone in Toronto and would like to have you register before August 1, when fees increase. Further details are outlined in the NOR.
