From the 2018 Melges 24 Midwinter and Tune Up event:

Welcome to warm and balmy Miami.

Here are some answers to a few questions that have been asked. Yes you can swap out sails throughout this event as long as they class legal. No registration or check required today (Thursday). Tomorrow schedule is as follows.

Friday
9:00 am - Skippers Meeting  and morning briefing  in the hangar.

11:00 am - The start of the first practice start with one more practice start to follow, the race #1

After racing the days debrief will be held with beer and snacks in the hangar.

Just to remind everyone the official notice board and communication for this event will be through the Yacht Scoring event website. I want to make sure each boat is getting this email so if you can respond to my email address rdraftz@charlestonyachting.com I would appreciate it.

We have a number of Corinthian Teams I will be able to update those teams shortly.

If any teams have people that want to get out on the water we have a couple of spots open on race committee boats just have them contact me.
