Congratulations to David King aboard USA-505! He and his team are 2016 Melges 24 Helly Hansen St. Petersburg NOOD Regatta Champions. King won out over eight other competing teams with included Southeast Fleet District Governor Gary Schwarting on Obsession, USMCA President Steve Boho on The 300 and USMCA VP George Haynie on Firewater.

Over the course of the three-day weekend event, nine races were completed with King coming out on top. Schwarting had a great event to come second place finish thanks to a set of first place finishes of his own. Hunter Ratliff aboard Decorumrounded out the podium.
