New Dates Issued for the
2025-2026 Bacardi Winter Series Edition

The Bacardi team has officially announced key changes to the upcoming Winter Series schedule. There will be no December event this season (2025) due to multiple conflicts. Instead, a new February event has been added to ensure a smoother and more streamlined experience for teams. The revised 2026 schedule is as follows:

• Winter Series #1 / North American Championship: January 23–25, 2026

• Winter Series #2: February 20–22, 2026 (3 days of racing)

• Bacardi Invitational Regatta: March 5–7, 2026 (no changes)

With the removal of the December date, the Melges 24 North American Championship will now be held in conjunction with Winter Series #1 in January. The Bacardi team will revisit the potential return of a December event after this season. Registration will open soon, and if you’re on the Bacardi list, you’ll be notified by email once entries go live.

Annual USM24CA Call for Submissions:
Deadline Monday, August 4

The U.S. Melges 24 Class Association encourages all Class members to submit their recommendations for changes or updates to the class constitution, class rules, technical guidelines, future events, regatta regulations, and general policies. Submissions must be made using the official form HERE, and received by Monday, August 4.
