As you prepare your crew for competition and renew your 2025 Class Membership: The U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USM24CA) is committed to providing the highest level of customer support and class management, ensuring that Class Rules are upheld and that all teams compete on a fair and level playing field. Recently, to address challenges with event management systems such as Yachtscoring, and to further support some of our long-time partnerships with Event Organizers, the USM24CA has implemented its own policies and procedures to verify complete and accurate crew lists, confirm that all teams and professional crews are current Class members, and properly vet Corinthian teams through World Sailing’s Sailor Categorization system. These efforts protect the integrity of our racing and demonstrate exactly how membership dues are applied and benefit the entire fleet. Your membership also provides direct benefits, including eligibility to enter Class championship events, voting privileges on Class rules and officers, qualification to serve as a Class officer, and access to membership stickers and benefits. Membership dues also support critical resources such as the USM24CA website, news reporting, marketing, social media, and race scheduling, as well as our global presence through the International Melges 24 Class Association (IM24CA). Additionally, full membership strengthens the U.S. Class’s voting power on Class rule changes, ensuring that your voice is heard at the highest level.
