Summertime Melges 24 Racing Is Underway: Key Melges 24 Events Ahead

The 2026 Melges 24 season is entering one of its most active stretches as teams prepare for a summer filled with championship racing, training opportunities, and important steps on the road to the US Nationals, and then Harbor Springs for the 2026 Melges 24 World Championship.

Whether your focus is improving boat speed, refining crew work, competing for a national title, or just having fun building momentum for the second half of the season, the coming weeks offer opportunities for every team throughout the fleet.

June 11-14, 2026 / Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron / Nova Scotia, Canada

The countdown is on for the 2026 Canadian National Championship, hosted by the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron and proudly presented by North 44 Yacht Sales. With 11 teams already registered, competitors can expect outstanding racing on one of North America's premier freshwater venues, complemented by the exceptional hospitality and shoreside experience for which RNSYS is well known. As the championship approaches, now is the time to secure your place on the starting line and be part of what promises to be another memorable stop on the 2026 Melges 24 calendar.

This summer, three Melges 24 Newport Training Camps will provide teams with dedicated opportunities to improve performance, refine crew work, and prepare for the season's major championship events. Timed to support competitors heading into the East Coast Championship and later the U.S. National Championship and Worlds, each session offers focused coaching and valuable time on the water in one of the best places to race.
