One Step Closer: Melges 24 Championship Racing Rolls
Into September

Melges 24 racing is red hot and the season is charging forward. With the U.S. Nationals complete and Pre-Worlds wrapping-up, in North America all eyes turn to Harbor Springs for the 2026 Melges 24 World Championship, hosted by Little Traverse Yacht Club (LTYC), September 19–26. Entries officially closes Tuesday, September 1, so it’s not too late—the time to get on the starting line is now.

And Worlds isn’t the finish. More great racing awaits this fall, with the Fall Champs in Lake Geneva, M24s in Summer in Tampa, Bushwhacker Cup in Pensacola and Space Coast Regatta at the Melges Water Sports Center, and beyond that — an exciting 2027 calendar of events is already taking shape.

This is it! Forty-six teams are already entered for the 2026 Melges 24 World Championship, and the final registration deadline is Tuesday, September 1. If you’re planning to race in Harbor Springs, now is the time to make it official — register and pay your entry fee by September 1 to secure your place on the starting line.

Congratulations to two outstanding Melges 24 teams on an incredible U.S. Nationals in Traverse City! Cuyler Morris, Manu Weiller, Alec Anderson, Charlie Smythe and Mark Ivey aboard Dark Horse successfully defended their U.S. National Championship title, while Eddie Gary, John Goller, Katherine Booker, Curtis Woodworth and Steve Liebel aboard Troublemaker delivered a determined final-day performance to claim the 2026 Corinthian U.S. National Championship. 2026 NOTICE OF SERIES AMENDMENTS ISSUED:
SOUTHEAST RACING AND NORTH AMERICAN SAILING SERIES
Two important schedule updates have been made to the 2026 Southeast Racing Series and North American Sailing Series.
